Responsible for Corporate Development reporting directly to the Corporate
CEO, was responsible for two sets of Group Corporate Strategic Plans including
specific projects to obtain Board Approval for new ships. Also responsible for
plans to create a separate Feeder Service company, a bulk shipping company, and
an Asian based port JV company.
Responsible for the non-shipping business unit's overall strategy and M&A
efforts. Crafted the Strategic Plan and led divisional M&A activities covering
15 different target companies. Also worked on a number of
operational/management tasks.
Crafted extensive expansion strategy and
underlying operational implementation plans for their affiliated logistics
entity to utilize when describing their supply chain vision for the future as
part of the overall efforts for the company to be sold. The company and
all underlying affiliates were subsequently successfully sold to another
shipping company.
Responsible for non-shipping
activities
reporting directly to the Corporate CEO, was
responsible for creating the new non-shipping holding company with
initial capitalization. In addition, completed the first in a series of
planned acquisitions through a share purchase agreement.
